Welcome to Brentwood
A charming and family-oriented residential community known for its agricultural roots and aspirational wellness policy
Not to be confused with the popular Los Angeles suburb of the same name, Brentwood is a charming and desirable community in Contra Costa County, located in the eastern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, approximately 55 miles east of the city. Known primarily for its farm and agricultural roots, Brentwood’s former farms and orchards have been redeveloped into suburban areas as the city grows and becomes increasingly residential.
Despite the changing landscape, Brentwood remains revered for its agricultural heritage. People travel for miles for the town’s produce, particularly their cherries, peaches, and corn. Residents and businesses alike find lots to love about this family-oriented town with top-rated schools.
Brentwood is one of the few California towns with a Wellness Policy, city-wide aspirational goal to motivate residents to maintain a fitness regimen and prioritize education to promote the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.
